The DOE Joint Genome Institute (JGI) is hosting the Genomics of Energy & Environment Meeting, which will take place both in-person at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) and virtually. The conference is being held from August 29-31 (with post-conference workshops being held on September 1st and 2nd,) and aims to bring together professionals from diverse disciplines to discuss their work addressing energy and environmental issues. Jennifer Doudna of the University of California (UC) Berkeley, Assaf Vardi of the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Susan Wessler of UC Riverside, are the keynote speakers for the event. There will also be talks, poster sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
