A SorghumBase workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd from 3:45-5:00 p.m. during The Sorghum Improvement Conference of North America (SICNA) conference (April 2-4, 2024) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. SorghumBase, a USDA-ARS funded resource, is dedicated to supporting the sorghum research community by providing curated genomic and genetic data sets, research updates, and more. The workshop is open to all from the novice user to those who are more experienced. We will provide an update on new developments and plans for 2024 as well as training on the SorghumBase platform, which will include:
- submitting news items and research highlights and updating funding information
- biocuration of gene structure and function
- submission of gene expression and genetic population data
