The sixth meeting on Biological Data Science is taking place at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from November 13 to 16, 2024. The meeting organizers are Elinor Karlsson, from UMass Chan Medical School, Michael Schatz, from Johns Hopkins University, and Catalina Vallejos Meneses, from the University of Edinburgh, UK. The conference will focus on the infrastructure, software, and algorithms needed to analyze large data sets in biological research. The goal is to assemble a multidisciplinary audience; researchers in academia or industry who work on technical aspects of the discussion topics in all areas of biology, as well as translational and clinical researchers who regularly mine large data sets as part of their projects, are welcome to submit abstracts.
Discussion Themes include:
- Single Cell
- Personalized Medicine and Biomarkers
- Imaging
- Machine Learning
- Algorithmics
- Tools, Infrastructure, and Visualization
Abstracts for oral presentations are due by August 23; poster abstracts are due by Oct 1. Regular registration ends November 8, 2024 at 5 PM EST. For more information visit the conference website.
