The USDA – Agricultural Research Service is looking for a Post – Doctoral Research Associate in Plant Genetics in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. The appointment is for two years with possible extension to a third year and requires travel to College Station, Texas. The selected candidate will be working on sorghum pan genomes using phenotypic data associated with populations to support characterization of critical genetic variations that result in differences in grain production and stress tolerance, which are of critical importance to sorghum producers. Salary is based on experience and includes benefits.
Job Requirements:

- Knowledge of computational biology and breeding
