Over 3,000 genetic scientists and researchers in plant and animal research will gather from January 13-18 in San Diego, California for The Plant & Animal Genome Conference (PAG30). The conference, which focuses on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects, will include plenary speakers, technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and opportunities for networking. The plenary lecturers are George Church from Harvard Medical School, Ileana Cristea from Princeton University, Emma Farley from the University of California, San Diego, Ian Godwin from The University of Queensland, Oliver Ryder from the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, Viviane Slon from Tel Aviv University, and Rajeev Varshney from Murdoch University.
