The 2024 International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (2024 ISRFG) will be held in Little Rock/Stuttgart Arkansas from September 9-11, 2024. Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the sequencing of the rice genome, the conference will seek to address the key question, “How can we feed our world without destroying our planet?” In addition to keynote speakers, lecturers, poster sessions and workshops, the last day of the meeting attendees will visit a farmer’s field, the University of Arkansas Rice Research and Extension Center/Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center in Stuttgart. Arkansas is the leading rice growing state in the U.S. with more than half of its counties producing rice. The Arkansas gathering will present an opportunity to not only showcase rice agricultural research in the state of Arkansas and the USA, but to make meaningful connections between U.S. scientists, industry members and farmers and the broader international community.
Travel Grants are available for USA based scientists – https://t.co/EbuAZrMSgf.
