The Global Sorghum Conference will take place at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, September 14–18, 2026. This international event will highlight sorghum’s unique role as The Resource Conserving Crop™ through technical presentations, networking opportunities, and field tours.
The conference is designed to:
Catalyzing groundbreaking research on high-priority topics in sorghum science
Strengthening collaborations between producers and researchers
Fostering interdisciplinary interaction among academia, government and national programs, NGOs, and the private sector
Promoting sorghum’s global importance in partnership with the Global Sorghum Association
